THE BOOK'S SUBJECT:
Published in 1955 under the name "Yılanlı Kuyudan", the work is a diary of pain and tears that reflects the enormous impact of prison days on the deep and sensitive inner life of the "great artist".
MAIN IDEA OF THE BOOK
I'm in the pen. I have a remarkable
person in front of me: Mr. Accountant ... This is a separate type ... something
like (Homongolos). There are lines from the dream of a machine man. It seems
that many of the joints are missing; or the nervous composition that gives
shape to his body and meaning to his face is rigid ... It rotates with his
whole body, holds all his limbs in one direction, speaks very little and never
laughs.
